Whilst lacking some of the more advanced features of more expensive digital pianos the Casio CDP-100 has everything you could need for recreational use, and with its portability and functionality it should serve you well for your music needs.

The Good:

  • Weighted hammer keys have very realistic piano feel
  • Good acoustic sound
  • Affordably priced
  • Sustain pedal is actually included instead of being an optional extra
  • Very functional despite not having all the features of a more expensive keyboard
  • Portable – very handy!

The Bad:

  • The speakers aren’t the best – a good quality pair of headphones is recommended

This digital piano is great for:

  • People who want a digital piano that has the feel and sound of an acoustic piano

Overall, the Casio CDP-100 Digital Piano is a great keyboard if you don’t really need all the bells and whistles of the more expensive digital pianos. It still has all the basic features you’re looking for but at a fraction of the price. So if you’re looking for a digital piano for home use that still has that acoustic piano sound and feel then this is a good all around keyboard for you.
