The 88 keys are weighted scaled hammer action to provide a more realistic playing experience, and they also feature an ivory touch with three sensitivity levels. This means they really feel like grand piano keys and offer a natural performance sound and feel. The Casio AP420 features the state of the art Linear Morphing AiF sound source technology, so when you play you can hear the entire spectrum of realistic grand piano tones. The Casio PX-120 Privia is a lightweight digital piano that incorporates weighted keys that emulate the feeling of an acoustic piano. They are a sensation to use and the sound quality is superb. Using an advanced AIF sound source it can play up to 128 notes simultaneously as well as 20 piano rhythms such as drums to accompany you while playing .

A feature I really like is the Duet Function, this is fantastic for beginners as it allows you to play parallel with an instructor by “splitting” the keyboard into two sections which can be transposed separately.

The Casio PX-110 Privia Digital Piano has a fantastic acoustic sound and feel, thanks to some of Casio’s best technology. The PX-110 features an 88 key scaled hammer action keyboard and a multi stereo sampled tri-element ZPI sound source. This ZPI sound source includes separate wave forms for strong, medium and light key pressure, meaning that the differences in sounds are accentuated just as they would be on an acoustic piano. The stereo sampling gives natural sounding notes that provide sound quality so similar to an acoustic piano you won’t be able to tell the difference. Lower frequency sounds are improved by a Bass reflex System. The weighted keys mean that the Casio PX-110 really feels like the real thing, with lower notes feeling heavier and higher notes lighter. Just like any other digital piano the Casio Privia PX-110 includes other sounds such as organ, pipe and strings. It also has a layer function that allows you to play two tones at once and a split feature that allows you to split between two different tones. The Casio PX-110 Privia Digital Piano has the best of both worlds.

If you only have a few hundred to spend on a digital piano, this one would be worth a look!
